Licensees must comply with the RSPCA Certified Chain of Custody Standard to ensure all RSPCA Certified products are traceable to a Certified source.

Chain of Custody Program

Any RSPCA Certified Licensee that wishes to market RSPCA Certified products through use of the RSPCA Certified brand on product packaging or public facing material, must have a Trademark Licensing Agreement in place and fulfil the requirements of the Chain of Custody Program.

Licensees are required to comply with the RSPCA Certified Chain of Custody Standard as part of their agreement so that any product sold as RSPCA Certified can be traced back to a Certified source. This ensures provenance and integrity of the supply chain so that consumers can have confidence that the product purchased is from farms that meet the RSPCA Australia Standards.

Further Information

Our Chain of Custody Program ensures the traceability and segregation requirements of RSPCA Certified are being met. This includes any entity that handles a product labelled, marketed as or making claims to contain RSPCA Certified products.

The RSPCA Certified Chain of Custody Standard applies to anyone in the supply chain of a business that has an RSPCA Certified Licensing Agreement.
