Hazeldenes Free Range Chicken
Hazeldenes Free Range chickens are raised on RSPCA Certified Farms
These meat chickens are reared to the RSPCA Australia Standard for Meat Chickens which has a strong focus on their welfare. With over 350 unique requirements, raising meat chickens to the RSPCA Australia standard means they are provided with higher welfare environments, when inside the shed and outdoors, that meet their behavioural and physiological needs. During the day when weather permits, birds have access to an outdoor area with plenty of space to forage and explore.
During the night or when weather isn’t ideal birds have higher welfare barns to stay safe inside, with perches, pecking objects and dry friable litter – all to encourage their highly motivated behaviours.

Layer hens raised by producers with RSPCA Certification have nests, perches, litter to dust bathe and enough space to move. The Standard allows for indoor and outdoor housing that provide the hen with opportunities to perform natural behaviours.
